Saturday, Aug. 29: Intriguing Insects
Meadow Bug Hunt: The meadow is a-buzz with insect life. Capture and release amazing insects and other arthropods. From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at E.C. Lawrence Park. Sunday, Aug. 30: Bridge to a Fun Bear
Wagon Ride to Poohsticks Bridge: Journey through the woods to Poohsticks Bridge to listen to Winnie the Pooh’s story and play Poohsticks on the bridge. From 11 a.m. to noon at Riverbend Park. Sunrise Kayak Tour : Enjoy breathtaking sunrise views over the Potomac River on this naturalist-led tour. From 7 to 9 a.m. at Riverbend Park. Ages 14 and up. No previous experience required.
