'Green Fire,' Award-Winning Documentary on Aldo Leopold, Set for Saturday

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time,” an Emmy Award-winning 90-minute documentary on the life and principles of Aldo Leopold, author of Sand County Almanac and one of the principal conservationists/environmentalists of the 20th century, will be shown Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Chapel of the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church, 1900 Windmill Lane, Alexandria, hosted by the church’s Green Sanctuary and Outdoor Council. Light refreshments are served at 7 p.m. and the film begins at 7:30 p.m.
