Hyland, Storck Endorse Garvey For State Senate
Garvey has also been endorsed by Ticer and former Virginia Attorney General Mary Sue Terry.

Current Chair of the Arlington County School Board,Ā Libby Garvey received two official endorsements today to replace Sen. Patsy Ticer in the Virginia Senateās 30th District fromĀ Mt. Vernon District Supervisor Gerry Hyland and Fairfax County School Board member Dan Storck, according to a press release. Ā

After Ticer announced her retirement, Garvey announced her intention to run for the Virginia Senate in the 30th District in February. In addition to the endorsements from Hyland and Storck, Garvey has been endorsed by Ticer and former Virginia Attorney General Mary Sue Terry. Ā

āLibby Garvey has worked statewide to improve public education in Virginia and she has done just that for tens of thousands of students, including thousands in the Mount Vernon District," Storck said in the release. "Her tenacity and effectiveness will serve us well as a state senator.ā
