Kaine to Campaign in Fort Hunt Today

U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine will tour small businesses in the Fort Hunt area today.

According to a news release from the campaign, Kaine plans to hear from small business owners on the challenges they face and ways to support small businesses. He will also share his strategies for creating jobs and strengthening the economy.

Stops will include the Mount Vernon Farmers’ Market at the Sherwood Hall Library, Hollin Hall Automotive, the Hollin Hall Pastry Shop and the Hollin Hall Variety Store.

Also on Wednesday, Kaine’s U.S. Senate opponent, Republican George Allen, will be speaking to the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce.
