Metro School of Arts’ Jazz Group Trains at Broadway Dance Center

Alexandria, Va. Performing Arts Studio's Pre-Professional Jazz Group, IMPULSE, Learns from Renowned NYC Choreographers

Metropolitan School of the Arts’ of Alexandria, Va. pre-professional student jazz group, IMPULSE, visited the Broadway Dance Center in NYC to participate in classes taught by Broadway Dance instructors. Broadway dance instructors include: Keenan Cooks, a dancer, Broadway Dance Center faculty, and choreographer, who has danced with and choreographed for J. Lo, Cardi B, and Lizzo; Parker Esse: guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center and choreographer, as well as the Helen Hayes winner for Best Choreography; and Carlos Neto, a dancer, Broadway Dance Center faculty, and choreographer who has choreographed and directed for Warner Brothers, SyCo Music, Sony BMG, Atlantic Records, Brooklyn Nets, Britain’s Got Talent, Matchbox Twenty, Melanie Martinez, Sergey Lazarev, the Broadway production of Circolombia, The Fringe NYC, ITV’s Got To Dance and Samsung. The Academy at Metropolitan School of the Arts is a college preparatory performing arts school for emerging young artists, grades 7 to 12, who are dedicated to a rigorous academic experience in a pre-professional performing arts conservatory environment.
