Metropolitan School of the Arts to Present "The Company Project" Gala, Oct. 11
Local Performing Arts School Hosts Annual Gala in Annandale, Va.; Sun. Oct. 11

On Sun., Oct. 11, Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) of Lorton and Alexandria, Va. will debut “The Company Project,’ featuring innovative choreography by MSA faculty and renowned guest artists including Ginger Cox, Derek Mitchell and Michelle Dorrance, performed by MSA’s four pre-professional dance companies - iMpulse Youth Jazz Dance Company, Metropolitan Youth Ballet, Metropolitan Youth Tap Ensemble and iLL-Matik Youth Hip Hop Company. The gala will be at the Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center in Annandale, Va. Go to www.metropolitanarts.org.
The MSA program will celebrate many facets of “inspiration” in art and dance from classical origins to modern urban styles and present some of the area’s most talented youth dancers in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.
As a 501(c)3, MSA tickets sales and donations help support the growth of MSA’s performing arts programs with scholarships, Next Stage development, MSA academy supplies and MSA’s campus expansion. MSA is committed to encouraging and strengthening arts’ education awareness in schools. All donations are tax-deductible.
