Alexandria, Va. Performing Arts Academy Offers Broadway Dance Center Elite Instructors-Sept.22/Sept.23

Metropolitan School of the Arts Performing Arts Academy of Alexandria, Va., is inviting dance enthusiasts to join their Broadway Dance Center elite instructors, for a special master class dance extravaganza on Sat., Sept. 22, 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sun., Sept. 23, 12:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost is $50 for one class, but multiple class rates are discounted. Intermediate and advanced classes are available. The master classes are held at Metropolitan School of the Arts at 5775 Barclay Road, Suite 4, in Alexandria, Va. Go to www.metropolitanarts.org.
Metropolitan School of the Arts Academy is a pre-professional conservatory school, that provides serious performing arts students the opportunity to earn an accredited, rigorous academic experience, while also pursuing their love for dance, theatre and music. Broadway Center instructors visit the school regularly to teach, mentor and speak to aspiring students.

Master class instructors include: Maud Arnold, renowned rhythm tap artist with Syncopated Ladies; Sheila Barker, jazz instructor from the Broadway Dance Center; Ginger Cox, contemporary dance instructor from the Broadway Dance Center; Jordan Washington, hip-hop instructor from the Broadway Dance Center; Parker Esse, Broadway jazz instructor of the Broadway Dance Center, and Tiffanie Carson, contemporary jazz instructor, also on faculty at Shenandoah University of Virginia and teaches at the Broadway Dance Center.
“We are so fortunate to have the extraordinary instructor talent represented at our master classes,” said Melissa Dobbs, executive director and founder of Metropolitan School of the Arts of Alexandria, Va. “The veteran performing arts instructors give our students a real-world taste of life beyond the Academy,” said Dobbs.
