Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell says he would be "very interested" in being on the Republican ticket as a vice presidential candidate in 2012.
McDonnell toldĀ PoliticoĀ āIām not asking for the call. Iām not looking for the call. As Iāve said many times, Iāve got the best job in America.
āBut I think anybody who is in public life, if a presidential nominee called him and said, āI need your help to win,ā it would be a tremendous honor. ā¦ Weāll see. Itās going to be seven, eight, nine months before any of these decisions are made.ā
