Franconia Eagles Wrestling Club beginning this summer in the Franconia, Kingstowne, Rose Hill areas

I am excited to announce that young boys and girls ages 5-14 will have an opportunity soon to learn the sport of wrestling.  A summer camp will be held for four weeks at Edison High School's wrestling room and a regular season will start at the beginning of November.  Interested parents/kids should sign up by  emailing the organizer at franconia_wrestling@yahoo.com.  Also check out the website at http://www.eteamz.com/franconiawrestlingclub/.

This club offers athletes ages 5 to 14 instruction on proven wrestling techniques, and the opportunity to employ these techniques in wrestling tournaments around the area.  Additionally,  the club is designed to provide each participant an opportunity to improve their athletic skills, make new friendships and have fun! 

The team practices will emphasize the importance of a proper warm-up routine, healthy eating habits, conditioning, teamwork and character.

Each participant should expect to:

1.Receive instruction on proven wrestling techniques from qualified coaches with NCAA Division I, military and high school experience and an accumulation of decades of youth wrestling coaching experience.

2.Participate in a number of games designed to enhance agility, flexibility, endurance and overall athleticism.

3.Hear motivational stories that impart valuable life lessons. 

4.Receive a team T-shirt.

5.Participate in weekly wrestling meets.
