The Hayfield Secondary varsity football team won over South County High 36-35 in the season opener Friday night.
Hayfield made a great comeback win over a strong South County team. Junior quarterback Ellis Knudson had a big game with two touchdown passes, he ran for one touchdown and a critical two-point conversion.
Big things are on the horizon for the Hawks, and they enjoyed great fan support Friday night.
