Cinnabon to Open Saturday at Springfield Town Center

Cinnabon® will be opening its newest location on Saturday at Springfield Town Center. The Cinnabon bakery, owned by franchisee Heon Kim, is located within the shopping center and will host a grand opening for guests on Saturday.

The entire community is invited to stop by from 12 noon – 3 p.m. to celebrate the arrival of “America’s favorite treats.”

Following a celebratory ribbon cutting, guests can enjoy a free MiniBon® Roll, Cinnabon swag, and enter for a chance to win FREE MiniBon Rolls for a full year.* (see below for details)

“I’m incredibly honored to be a part of the Cinnabon family and to have the opportunity to bring our wide array of special treats to residents and families of Springfield,” says franchise owner, Heon Kim. “I’ve had a deep connection with this brand ever since I got my first whiff of that irresistible aroma. Now, I’m thrilled to have the chance to make our shopping center smell a bit sweeter, while putting smiles on people’s faces each day.”

Guests can expect to see a variety of Cinnabon favorites at the Springfield location, including the signature Cinnabon Classic Roll or MiniBon Roll, baked fresh with only the highest quality ingredients, such as Makara® Cinnamon from Indonesia.

For a more on-the-go experience, guests can treat themselves to innovations like CinnaSweeties™, Cinnabon® Bites, or Cinnabon Stix®, a light and flakey portable snack served with a side of mouthwatering cream cheese frosting. Cinnabon fans can also cool off in the summer heat with made-to-order blended beverages from Cinnabon, including the Mochalatta Chill® and original Chillattas®, which are available in flavors like Oreo®, Cinnamon Roll, and Tropical Blast®, among others.

The new Springfield Cinnabon bakery, located at 6500 Springfield Mall, will be open Monday-Friday during regular mall hours and can be reached at 703-822-8205.
