CO2 Leak At Franconia Restaurant Yields No Injuries
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said crews quickly stopped the leak Wednesday morning.

FRANCONIA, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue stopped a CO2 (carbon dioxide) leak at a Franconia restaurant morning.
The leak was reported at a restaurant in the 7500 block of Telegraph Road. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue does not identify specific locations of incidents, but the only restaurants in the block are located at the shopping center at Telegraph and Hayfield Roads.
Crews found the CO2 cylinder leaking inside the kitchen and quickly stopped it. Neighboring units were checked, but the fire department determined no other businesses were impacted. Crews provided check ups for three people, and no injuries were reported.
