DC-Area 'Ready for Hillary' Group to Gather Thursday for Kickoff

Ready for Hillary, the SuperPAC gathering support for a potential run for president by Hillary Clinton, will gather Thursday in DC for a kickoff event for DC-area supporters.Ā The super PAC (political action comittee)Ā has raised more than $1 million.
The SuperPAC has an office inĀ Huntington Station Shopping CenterĀ (a former campaign office for Sen. Tim Kaine)Ā near the Huntington Metro Station in AlexandriaĀ and a mailing address in McLean.
Scheduled Thursday fromĀ 6 to 8 p.m., the national organization says they expect to seeĀ hundreds of local supporters atĀ theĀ LOOK Restaurant and Lounge, located at 1909 K St. NW, Washington DC, 20006.
Clinton, former Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and first lady,Ā has not made any announcements about an intention to run for president in 2016 although she ran in 2008.Ā
Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill told The Washington Post thatĀ Ready for Hillary organizers āare an independent entity acting on their own passion. Their energy and enthusiasm to convince her to run is inspiring, though only she in the end can make that very personal decision.ā
