Edison Athletic Boosters to Have Tag Day Saturday
Edison High School Athletes will be in Kingstowne and Franconia neighborhoods to raise money for the school's athletic department.
Student athletes from Edison High School will participate in the Athletic Boosters' Tag Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to raise money to support the school's athletic department. The student athletes will be out in the local neighborhoods fundraising for the department.
Tag Day was created by the Edison Athletic Boosters as a way for the local residents to show support in the success of the school's athletes. The school's athletic teams rely on the support of the community as the athletic budget was reduced in recent years. Donations are tax deductible and 100 percent of the money goes to the Edison High School athletic department.
