Edison Gymnastics took second place at the National District Gymnastics Meet at Mount Vernon High School on Feb. 7 and advance to the Northern Region Competition. Washington-Lee placed first, Falls Church third, Yorktown fourth, Mount Vernon fifth, and Wakefield sixth. The Top 2 teams from each District go to Regionals which are scheduled to be held at Lake Braddock Secondary School on Feb. 10.
Edison's Tia Eberline placed fourth in All-Around individual competition, second in Floor, third in Bars, and fourth in Vault. Teammates Hannah Tecson placed seventh in All-Around, second in Beam, fifth in Floor, and sixth in Vault; Julianne Grignol placed eighth in Vault.
