Mount Vernon Unitarian Church Hosts “Toward Net-Zero Energy Fair” Nov. 5
Mount Vernon Unitarian Church (MVUC), which recently converted its heating and cooling system to geothermal and solar energy, is hosting a Toward Net-Zero Energy Fair from 9:30 to 12:30 Saturday Nov. 5 at the Chapel, 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria, Va.
The fair includes speakers on MVUC’s experience and results, federal and state incentives for renewable heating and cooling systems, and how renewable systems affect property values. The free event is designed to provide homeowners and decision makers for places of worship or public buildings with information on renewable systems.
