Fairfax Connector Schedule for 4th of July Holiday Weekend

Here's a look at the schedule for Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.

In observance of the 4th of July Holiday, Fairfax Connector will operate on a Holiday weekday service schedule on Friday, July 3 and Saturday service on Saturday, July 4.

  • Friday, July 3, 2015: Routes operate according to the weekday schedule except routes 335, 393, 394, 395, 432, 494, 495, 585, 599, 724, 734, and 985, which will have no service and not operate. In addition, Route 980 buses will operate at a reduced frequency of every 12 to 15 minutes during rush hours.
  • Saturday, July 4, 2015: Routes operate according to the Saturdayschedule. The following routes operate on Saturdays: 101, 109, 151, 152, 161, 162, 171, 310, 321, 322, 371, 401, 402, 423, 463, 505, 551, 558, 559, 574, 605, 721, 937, 950, 981, 983, RIBS 1, RIBS 2, RIBS 3, RIBS 4, and RIBS 5.

County residents and visitors headed to the National Mall for 4th of July fireworks are encouraged to ride transit! With a SmarTrip card, riders can transfer between Fairfax Connector and Metrorail and receive a 50-cent transfer discount. Metrorail offers convenient access to the National Mall, and Fairfax Connector offers late night service at many Metrorail stations throughout the county. Riders are encouraged to view Metro’s 4th of Julyservice plans, and use Trip Planner to plan a trip with Fairfax Connector and Metro.
