Farmer's Market Opens This Week In Kingstowne

KINGSTOWNE, VA -- Farmers markets are opening again for the season, and Kingstowne's market opens Friday, May 5.

The market is open Fridays from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. in the Giant parking lot at 5870 Kingstowne Towne Center. Pets are not allowed, except for service animals. The market will run through Oct. 27.

Many of the vendors are familiar faces from last year, but the market is introducing Twin Springs Fruit Farm, which sells produce from Pennsylvania.

Vendors for the farmers market include:

• Bees 'n Blossoms: bee products, Gordonsville, Va.
• Bread & Water: bakery, Alexandria, Va.
• C&T Produce: produce, Fredericksburg, Va.
• Capital Cake Company: bakery, Alexandria, Va.
• Cavanna Pasta: pasta, Richmond, Va.
• Colonial Kettle Corn: kettle corn, Springfield, Va.
• Kiko Frutti: fruit pops, Lorton, Va.
• Kiwi Kuisine: bakery, Alexandria, Va.
• Kylie's Pop Shop: bakery, Lorton, Va.
• Level Green Farm/ Sissons Produce: produce, Montross, Va.
• McCleaf's Orchard: produce, Biglerville, Pa.
• Rockahock Farm: baked goods and dressings, Lanexa, Va.
• Salsa Las Glorias, L.C: salsa, The Plains, Va.
• Smith Family Farm: meat and eggs, Gainesville, Va.
• Sweet Nuna Middle Eastern Delicacies, LLC: bakery, Oakton, Va.
• Twin Springs Fruit Farm: produce, Orrtanna, Pa. (new vendor)
