Four Suspects from Chicago Area Arrested in Coupon Scheme at Target: Police

Fairfax County Police say they arrested four suspects in a coupon scheme at the Target store at Springfield Town Center.

The incident took place last Wednesday at about 6:17 p.m. at the Target, located at 6600 Springfield Mall.

Target Loss Prevention notified the police department’s (CATT) Christmas Anti-Theft Team of a possible fraudulent coupon scheme in progress.

CATT members responded, surveilled the four suspects and took them into custody, police said. The suspects; all from the Chicago area, were charged with larceny by false pretense. Their vehicle, a 2011 Chrysler minivan, was seized, police said.
