Genghis Grill Opening Next Month in Festival at Manchester Lakes

Virginia is the furthest north Dallas-based Genghis Grill has come

Kingstowne will be getting "khanquered" next month, according to Dallas-based restaurant chain Genghis Grill.

The Mongolian-themed restaurant will open on April 25 in Festival at Manchester Lakes, according to Chiara Granado, a marketing and public relations employee at the company.

The restaurant is based around the "build-your-own-bowl" concept. Customers choose from a variety of foods and seasonings to create their meal.

"You can't really send back your food because you made it," Granado said.

The Kingstowne location will be a franchise operated by Carlos Politano, a former regional director for Panera Bread, according to a press release from Genghis Grill.

A Genghis Grill in Chantilly is expected to open later this spring. The company currently has around 60 stores, with another 40 scheduled to open in 2011.
