Halloween In Springfield: Trick-Or-Treat, Fall Fest, More
There's no shortage of tricks and treats in Springfield for the Halloween season.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—From trick-or-treat to haunted wagon rides, there's plenty of spooky fun in Springfield for Halloween.

On Oct. 28 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m., Springfield Town Center will hold its Halloween Fest for little ghosts and goblins. Join Carnegie Master of Mystery for his Very Spooktacular Magic Show at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. while enjoying craft activities, face painting and decorating mini pumpkins. Then, trick-or-treatt around the shopping center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participating retailers will have a picture of an orange pumpkin hanging at the front of their store or restaurant. Stop by Guest Services and receive your Trick-or-Treat bag. Come dressed in your costumes for the show and Trick-or-Treating.

2. Fall Fest at Lake Accotink Park
7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield, VA 22150
Lake Accotink Park will transform into a spooky place for trick-or-treaters Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. Come to the park for Halloween-themed mini-golf, haunted wagon rides and treasure hunting on Scare-Away beach. Registered participants receive a trick or treat goodie bag.

Blend your love of nature with your desire for a good scary story at Hidden Pond Nature Center Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. This nocturnal wildlife and local lore program features a craft, a twilight walk into the forest, a campfire with spell-binding stories, s'mores and more. There's also a portion without scary stories for younger children at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
