Heroic First Responders Keep The Christmas Spirit Alive
These first responders did more than rescue a resident that fell while hanging Christmas lights.

FAIRFAX, VA—In the spirit of Christmas, kind acts go a long way. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel go a long way to help citizens already, but often their actions go a step further.
That was the case recently last weekend first responders from the Fairfax Center station responded to a call. They arrived on scene after a Fairfax resident fell from a ladder while installing Christmas lights. Fairfax Center firefighters and rescue personnel not only rescued the injured resident but took the time to hang up the remaining lights around the house.
The first responders not only wanted to relieve the burden for the family, but spread some holiday cheer. Better yet, the resident was taken to the hospital and has minor injuries.
