JCPenney Employee Facing Embezzlement Charges: Report
Woman is accused of stealing $200,000 worth of clothes, perfume and jewelry, according to media report.

Closing locations and declining sales aren’t the only problems troubling area JCPenney stores. NBC Washington is reporting the arrest of one employee at the Springfield Town Center location on embezzlement charges.
According to the report, Teresa Ann Stockton faces two counts of embezzlement. She is accused of stealing $200,000 worth of jewelry, clothes, cosmetics and perfume from the J.C. Penney store at Springfield Town Center.
Stockton allegedly sold the merchandise on eBay and some of the stolen merchandise was taken from her home, according to the report.
