Kingstowne Farmers Market Reopens This Week

If the scorching hot temperatures aren't enough to get you in the summer spirit, there's more where that came from. The Kingstowne Farmers Market will open for the season Friday, May 4 in the Giant parking lot, 5870 Kingstowne Towne Center.

With the new season comes new vendors. You'll be able to get favorites like baked goods from Kiwi Kuisine and produce from C&T Produce while browsing new vendors like Countless Blessings Farm and Gina's Pies.

Vendors for the farmers market include:

• Bread and Water Company, Breads, vienisserie, patisserie, Alexandria
• C&T Produce, produce, Fredericksburg
• Colonial Kettle Corn, kettle corn, Springfield
• Countless Blessings Farm, meat, eggs, bread, Culpeper
• Elda Gardens, produce, herbs, flowers, eggs, milk, honey, and meats, Midland
• Gina's Pies, pies and desserts, Round Hill
• Guzzy's Rolls, cinnamon rolls, Annandale
• Kiwi Kuisine, savory pies, Alexandria
• Linda Vista Farm, produce, Montross
• Misty Meadow Farm Creamery, dairy, Smithsburg, Md.
• Salsa Las Glorias, L.C., salsa, The Plains
• Smith's of Mecklenburg, sausage, BBQ, South Hill
• Sweet Nuna Middle Eastern Delicacies, baklava, hummus, tabouli, lentil soup and possibly pita bread and/or pita chips, Oakton
• The Jammerie, jams, jellies, chutneys, conserves, confits, syrups, Alexandria
• Wholesome Clean Eating, produce, gourmet plant-based eats Arbutus, Md.

The farmers market will be open Fridays through Oct. 26. Pets are not allowed except for service animals. Farmers market hours are 4 p.m.- 7 p.m.
