Man Who Filmed 60 Victims May Have Been In Springfield Stores
Tips to the hotline suggest the sexual predator may have been at Springfield Town Center. Police have counted at least 50 victims.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Fairfax County Police believe the man accused of recording at least 60 victims in dressing rooms may have filmed at Springfield Town Center. This lead comes after police opened a hotline for the case. More than 100 concerned residents have called the hotline. Mumtaz Rauf, 39, of Alexandria, was arrested on Christmas Eve after a teenage girl saw a device filming her in a Fair Oaks Mall dressing room.
Police are looking to identify the victims or receive information from anyone shopping when Rauf was filming. Rauf was believed to be at Forever 21, Gap, H&M and Old Navy stores at the Fair Lakes Promenade, Fair Oaks Mall, Springfield Town Center and Tysons Corner Center between Dec. 15 and 24. Springfield Town Center has a Forever 21 and H&M.
So far, these specific times and locations of the filming have been confirmed:

- Dec. 22, 2018, 1:15 p.m.-2:10 p.m. at Fair Lakes Old Navy
- Dec. 22, 2018, 2:50 p.m.-3:20 p.m. at Fair Oaks Mall H&M
- Dec. 22, 2018, 3:40 p.m.-4:15 p.m. at Fair Oaks Mall Forever 21
- Dec. 22, 2018, 4:25 p.m.-5:45 p.m. at Fair Oaks Mall H&M
- Dec. 24, 2018, 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. at Fair Oaks Mall Forever 21 and H&M
Additionally, the suspect may have been at Tysons Corner Center's Old Navy and H&M stores from 9:15 p.m.-10 p.m. on Dec. 22.
Police seized Rauf's devices and have not ruled out other victims. The videos of the 60 victims came from his phone.

Police have set up a dedicated contact options for the case.
