Marshalls To Open Springfield Location In March

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Springfield area shoppers won't have to leave town to shop at Marshalls soon. The off-price retailer announced it will open at Loisdale Center, 6638 Loisdale Road, on March 14.

Shoppers can attend the grand opening from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on March 14 for giveaways and more. Preceding the grand opening, Marshalls will present a $10,000 donation to ECHO, Inc at a 7:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony. The store will add 60 full and part-time jobs.

"Our newest store in Springfield will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for," said Tim Miner, president of Marshalls, in a statement. "Our buyers create a broad and exciting mix that offers exceptional values for the entire family, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood."

Marshalls sells brand name and designer merchandise in ladies, men, juniors, kids, shoes, accessories, home, pet, beauty and other departments. Stores bring in thousands of new items weekly, with buyers working year-round with brands, designers, and manufacturers around the world. Marshalls currently has more than 1,000 stores in 47 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
