Mediterranean Eatery CAVA Opens Kingstowne Location

(Updated 11:10 a.m.) KINGSTOWNE, VA — CAVA, a fast casual Mediterranean eatery, is opening in Kingstowne. It is located at 5965 Kingstowne Center, Suite 100. The store will officially open Friday, June 23 after a Thursday community lunch. Regular hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

CAVA offers health Mediterranean foods that you can customize. Customers start with a base, such as a grain bowl or salad, adding proteins like falafel or lamb meatballs, hummus or other spreads, and other toppings.

The restaurant will offer a complimentary meal on Thursday, June 22 from noon to 2 p.m. It will also collect donations for City Blossoms, a nonprofit that creates green spaces in DC for kids to learn about gardening, sustainability, and healthy eating.

Before the location opened, the closest CAVA in the Kingstowne area was 4513 Duke St in Alexandria.
