Meeting Planned For Bike Lane Proposal In Rose Hill

The proposal calls for narrowing driving lanes to create bike lanes in Rose Hill.

ROSE HILL, VA -- The Fairfax County Department of Transportation has proposed bike lanes on Rose Hill Drive and will hold a community meeting Thursday, June 8 to gather feedback. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Mark Twain Middle School (4700 Franconia Road, Alexandria) from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The project calls for narrowing existing driving lanes to make room for bike lanes on the road from Franconia Road to Telegraph Road. The divide between the bike lanes and rest of the road would be marked with stripes.
