New Kingstowne Cycling Group

I saw you riding. Let's do it together next time.

Kingstowne Cycling group welcomes you. This group is open to all skill levels. Its purpose is to unite road cyclists in the Kingstowne Community for group rides, mentorship, and camaraderie. All you need is a love for cycling and the willingness to be a part of your own cycling community.

Rules:
1. Be kind and courteous.
2. Ask questions, offer advice.
3. Come prepared.
4. No headphones.
5. Rides start on time.

Ride descriptions:
C - Relaxed: Perfect for newer riders. Slower paced, mild terrain, and shorter distances. 10-15 mph pace. 1-2 hours. 10-20 miles. Rest stops every 30-45 minutes as needed.
B - Brisk: Social with an emphasis on riding. Experienced group rider led, generally intermediate ride at greater pace, tougher terrain, and longer distances. 15-18 mph pace. 2-3 hours. 20-40 miles. Rest stops every 20 miles.
A - Very Strenuous: Fast paced, most difficult terrain, and/or longer distances. Advance cycling skills. 18+ mph pace. 3-4+ hours. 40+ miles. Stops minimal.

Weekly Rides:
- Tuesday Night Roundtowne. B Group Ride. 25 miles. Pedals out at 5 p.m. from Snyder Center (6450 S Van Dorn St, Alexandria, VA 22315).
