PHOTOS: Rose Hill Students, Parents Participate in 'Partners in Print'
Teachers read to students in pre-K, kindergarten and first grade and provided information to parents about reading with their children.
The cafeteria quickly filled to capacity at Rose Hill Elementary School Thursday evening as parents, teachers and students gathered for a hardy dinner of pizza, salad and cookies.
The elementary school hosted its first ever Partners in Print event from 6-8 p.m. when teachers read to students and talked with parents about reading with their children at home. During the event, families participated in two workshops presented by Rose Hill teachers in English and Spanish.
