The man barricaded himself in his residence for hours until he reportedly set a fire.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, VA—A man is facing charges for setting a fire during a barricade incident in West Springfield Friday, Fairfax County Police say.
Around 11 a.m., police were called to the 5800 block of Rexford Drive for a man "acting erractically." Officers attempted to contact him and serve an emergency custody order from the Merrifield Crisis Response Center. The man refused to surrender and barricaded himself in his condo. Neighbors were asked to stay inside as police resolved the situation.
Negotiations lasted hours as officers contained the scene. Hours later, Mogan was reportedly setting fire to the inside of his condo. Officers forced entry and took him into custody for his own and neighbors' safety, police say. The fire was put out, and no one was injured.
