Police: Two Assaulted in Home Invasion Robbery

One victim treated for minor injuries: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Loudoun County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a home invasion robbery reported to police early Monday.

At 3:27 a.m. Monday, one of the two robbery victims told police that three males brandishing firearms forced entry into the home in the 1040 block of Brixton Court in Sterling.

Two victims were assaulted inside the home, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. One victim received minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. The thieves took money and a cell phone.

There was a delay between when the incident occurred and when it was reported to law enforcement, the sheriff’s office report said.
