Resident Displaced After Springfield Fire
A Springfield resident escaped a Monday house fire without injury but is displaced.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A Monday house fire at the 6300 block of Hibbling Avenue in Springfield has displaced the home's resident.
Around 11 a.m., Fairfax County fire units were sent to the house fire at the 6300 block of Hibbling Avenue in Springfield. The home's one resident was alerted by a neighbor knocking on the door and escaped without injury.
Fire investigators found that the fire originated from the outside and spread inside the two-story home. The cause was accidental. Damages are estimated to be about $247,950.
