Restaurant At The St. James Complex Opens This Week

DC chef Spike Mendelsohn's restaurant will have to-go offerings and a full-service restaurant.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—DC chef Spike Mendelsohn's restaurant in the St. James sports and entertainment complex is ready to debut. Eater DC reports that Vim & Victor will open on Thursday, Jan. 10.

The restaurant will have two parts: a to-go counter and full-service restaurant. According to the restaurant listing on OpenTable, the to-go items include smoothies, juices, pastries and seasonal pizzas. The restaurant features toasts, salads, burgers and a selection of entrees. The drink menu has beers, wines and cocktails.

According to OpenTable, Vim & Victor is open for to-go items from 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. The full-service restaurant and bar opens 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.

Mendelsohn told Eater DC the outdoor patio portion of the restaurant could open in the spring.

The St. James complex opened last fall. Located on a 20-acre campus in Springfield, the 450,000-square-foot facility offers a wide variety of sports and wellness venues, programs and services, entertainment and more. Among the features are a field house, ice rinks, pool house, gymnastics center, health club, retail, entertainment center and indoor water park.
