Springfield Car Dealer Makes Generous Offer For Hospital

A Springfield car dealer is in the giving spirit this holiday season as it kicks off a fundraiser for a local children's hospital.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—If you're thinking about buying a car as a Christmas gift, it might help to know your sale can help a good cause. Sheehy Subaru of Springfield has announced it will donate $300 to Inova Children's Hospital for every new car sale or lease through Jan. 2, 2018.

Subaru's U.S.-based subsidiary will donate $250 for each car sale, while the local dealer will offer $50 to Inova Children's Hospital. The non-profit children's hospital offers full-service health care to infants, children and adolescents, and donations go toward reaching more children in the community. It opened last at the INOVA complex in Fairfax.

Subaru has chosen Inova Children's Hospital among other national charities it will benefit this holiday season. Other charities are ASPCA, Make-a-Wish, Meals on Wheels and the National Park Foundation.
