Springfield Fire Sends 2 Residents To Hospital
The two-alarm fire on Sunday required 32 units to respond, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — Two residents were sent to the hospital due to a two-alarm fire in Springfield Sunday, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
Units responded to a house in the 5800 block of Amelia Street and found smoke showing. Two residents were rescued from the home and evaluated. One went to the hospital by medi-vac and one was taken by ambulance. There were no reported firefighter injuries.
The fire went to two alarms and required 32 units on scene. The Alexandria Fire Department assisted. Fire investigators were on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
