Springfield Man Stops At Store, Wins $100K In Powerball
By matching four numbers and the Powerball number, he would've won $50,000. But he doubled that prize to $100,000.

A Springfield man was driving home from dinner with his daughter and decided to stop and play Powerball. That was a lucky decision.
Cresencio Hernandez won $100,000 by matching four of the five first numbers and the Powerball number. Normally the prize would be $50,000, but he doubled the prize by spending an extra dollar for Power Play. The winning numbers were 5-25-38-52-67, and the Powerball number was 24.
Hernandez bought the winning ticket for the Dec. 26 drawing at a 7-Eleven, 8319 Old Keene Mill Road in Springfield.
