Thieves Steal Car Tires In Fairfax County: Police

Thieves have stolen tires from at least four cars over the last week in Fairfax County.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—Residents are being forced to shell out money for new tires after thieves are making away with the car parts in Fairfax County. Police say all of the tires from at least four cars have been stolen this week.

Safaa Alhanash, a resident in the Alexandria area of the county, told FOX5DC she learned from police her tires were missing. She had just bought the 2017 car in August, and the thieves were able to get past the wheel locks on the tires.

She had her car parked in a public garage and now has to pay hundreds or thousands for new tires and a rental car.
