Crash, Downed Power Pole Snarled Traffic on Eisenhower Avenue
Crash Wednesday morning shut down lanes of Eisenhower Avenue at the 4800 block due to a crash that downed a utility pole, police said.

A UPS truck that crashed on Eisenhower Avenue downing a power pole snarled traffic Wednesday morning, according to Alexandria Police.
The DASH AT7 was temporarily not servicing stops between Van Dorn Metro Station and the Eisenhower Connector due to the accident involving a downed utility pole which had all lanes blocked. The bus was detouring on 495 from the Van Dorn Metro to the Eisenhower Connector at this time.
Other than the crash, DASH was running a regular schedule even with snow and icy roads that shut down Fairfax County schools and delayed Alexandria schools.
