mission is to assist families and individuals to improve the quality of
their lives in a manner that builds their self-reliance and fosters

of Alexandria is a private, non-profit, community-based social services
agency that assists low-income families and individuals in Northern
Virginia. As a safety net in the community, UCM provides community
members who have fallen on hard times with practical solutions to get
back on their feet. Thanks to generous community support, people who
come to UCM receive the help and hope they need to develop skills for
long-term self-sufficiency.

On July 18, 2014, The Alley Cay Restaurant is holding a benefit show for U.C.M.  A suggested donation of $10 provides you two performing local bands that have volunteered their time to help us raise money.  There will be a 50/50 and raffle giveaways.  Please come out and support this wonderful non profit organization.
