Vehicle Strikes Tree In Franconia Area, Driver Dies
A driver died and three passengers were injured in the single vehicle crash.

FRANCONIA, VA — A driver died and three passengers were injured when a car struck a tree in the Franconia area Saturday afternoon, Fairfax County Police say.
Around 5:50 p.m., police responded to the single car crash at Telegraph Road and Beulah Street. Investigations determined the driver was heading north on Telegraph Road, lost control of the 2000 Dodge Neon and hit a tree in the median.
The driver, Lauren Roucka, 27, of Woodbridge, was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead. Three adult passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
