Virginia Sales Tax Holiday Begins Friday

Each school supply needs to be under $20. And, don’t even think about using the tax-free sale for those new Air Jordans: the clothing limit is $100.

On the list, there are school standards like binders, book bags and dictionaries, as well as musical instruments, compasses and more. Clothing includes Robes, rain coats, flip-flops, formal wear and more.

Not on the list: Cosmetics, yarn, sun glasses, umbrellas, wallets, watches and more.
