Woman Scores $150K Powerball Win In Rose Hill
An Alexandria woman got a lot more than a full tank when she stopped for gas in Rose Hill.

A stop at a Rose Hill gas station resulted in more than a full tank of gas for one Alexandria woman. In fact, Barbara Coleman scored a $150K Powerball prize.
Coleman typically buys Powerball tickets when she gases up her car. It paid off for a ticket she bought at Franconia Gulf, 5514 Franconia Road. Her ticket matched four of the first five numbers plus the Powerball number in the March 31 drawing.
The winning numbers were 8-24-52-55-61, and the Powerball number was 21. Coleman used numbers generated randomly by a computer.

Normally the prize would be $50,000. But because she spent an extra dollar for Power Play, Coleman tripled her prize to $150,000.
“Shocked” and “happy” was Coleman's reaction when learning she was $150,000 richer.
