• $615K Grants through Virginia Main Street (nrvnews.com) — Leesburg is receiving a $15,000 Community Vitality Grant to develop downtown kiosks, part of a $615,000 Virginia Main Street package supporting 22 revitalization projects statewide. The funding will help the town's economic development team improve wayfinding and information for visitors, while other communities use similar grants for wayfinding, placemaking, and small-business support initiatives.
   

• 12 New Northern Virginia Dessert and Candy Shops Serving Up Sweet Treats (northernvirginiamag.com) — Downtown Leesburg has two new spots for serious chocolate lovers, including a dedicated chocolaterie on Loudoun Street SE and a freshly opened Kilwins on King Street. Both are serving artisan truffles, pastries, and ice cream just in time for cooler weather, alongside a wider roundup of new dessert shops across Northern Virginia.
