2. Lynchburg's Diamond Hill neighborhood is on its way to revitalization, one project at a time (cardinalnews.org) — Diamond Hill, one of Lynchburg's oldest neighborhoods, is seeing new life through a city-backed revitalization plan and small but visible projects like a colorful 12th Street mural and upgrades at Dunbar Middle School's community schoolyard. Residents, artists, and planners are working together on safer streets, better housing, and new businesses, while honoring the area's deep Black history and longtime community anchors. Funding will determine how quickly larger improvements roll out.
