Nine people were arrested last month as a result of a prostitution sting at a Manassas-area hotel, according to a report. The arrests were made after undercover detectives placed online ads soliciting sex and made several contacts with suspects through phone or social media.

Prince William County Police arrested a 49-year-old Manassas man after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl. According to police, Gonzalo Antonio Cruz Morales was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with aggravated sexual battery following an investigation into the incident.
Virginia State Police are investigating an Aug. 14 crash in Fauquier County that left a Manassas man dead. The crash happened on Route 882 about one-tenth of a mile from Route 880, police said.

Manassas Man Killed In Henrico County Three-Car Crash
An early-morning crash in Henrico County has claimed the life of a Manassas man. Giovanni Gonzalez, 21, died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a three-vehicle car accident on Interstate 64 near the 203 mile marker, according to Virginia State Police.
