DC March For Our Lives: Routes, What To Expect

Hundreds of thousands of people, including movie stars and singers, are about to descend on Washington, D.C., for perhaps the biggest march for gun control in U.S. history. The "March for Our Lives" will take place Saturday, March 24, on Pennsylvania Avenue from the U.S. Capitol to the Trump International Hotel blocks from the White House.

Pat Troy, Alexandria St. Patrick's Day Parade Founder, Dies

Pat Troy, a businessman and founder of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Alexandria, died Thursday morning at age 76. He and his wife Bernadette are Irish immigrants and were owners of Irish Walk on King Street.

Thousands of students from Virginia and Maryland will join youths from across the country in Washington, D.C., on Saturday to demonstrate as part of a nationwide call for gun control. The ride-hailing company Lyft wants to help get participants to the rally.
