Hong Kong-Style Food Coming To Urbanspace In Tysons

The Tiger Fork partners are opening the Cantonese-style barbecue concept at the food hall.

TYSONS, VA — Hei Hei Tiger is opening at the Urbanspace food hall at Tysons Galleria Tuesday, Feb. 25, serving up Cantonese-style barbecue.

Washington City Paper reported the details of the opening at the food hall's bar area. The Urbanspace website says the barbecue menu will have options like char siu, crispy pork belly, soya chicken, smoked tofu, or Cantonese-style duck. That's comes with a choice of rice, congee or noodle soup.

The eatery comes from the partners behind Tiger Fork, a DC restaurant known for its Hong Kong-style dishes. Diners can expect cocktail options derived from Tiger Fork, according to Washington City Paper.

Hei Hei Tiger joins Andy's Pizza, Japanese eatery Donburi, Lady M Cake Boutique and Laotian concept Sen Khao as well as the pop-up steak frites concept Butcher's Cut and coffee concept Twelve Twenty.

The Urbanspace food hall is a replacement for Mike Isabella's nine concept Isabella Eatery, which closed after less than a year. Urbanspace debuted in December 2018 on the third floor of Tysons Galleria and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
