Thief Steals From McLean Apartment During Resident's Trip: Police
A burglar may have entered through an unlocked door during the resident's time away, police say.
MCLEAN, VA—Fairfax County Police are investigating a burglary in a McLean apartment building while the resident was away.
The resident reported the burglary in the 7300 block of Dartford Drive to police on Thursday after finding items missing.
The burglary likely happened between Sept. 8 and that time. The resident said it's possible a door was left unlocked during the time away, according to police.
