Fairfax County announced its plan for trash pickup for the upcoming Labor Day holiday, Monday, Sept. 1:
Please be advised that Monday, September 1 will be a regular solid waste collection day for customers receiving Monday collection service for trash and recycling and for customers with previously scheduled collections. All materials should be at the curb by 6 a.m. in order to ensure that they will be collected.
Our administrative office will be closed on Monday, September 1 for the Labor Day holiday. The office will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2.

The Recycling and Disposal Centers at the I-66 Transfer Station (4618 West Ox Road) and the I-95 Landfill Complex (9850 Furnace Road) will both be open on Monday, September 1.
